This is a mid range drone flute in Bb meaning it has a balanced, clear, and resonant sound. The tuning is a standard tuning or Native American Flute tuning, otherwise known as a 6-hole pentatonic minor. The body is made of a gorgeous walnut with accent bands of maple and purpleheart with a special design of turquoise inlay.
Alternating: This flute is alternating drone so it has an additional hole on the drone side that allows you to play the root note, the 5th and the octave.

Your flute will be made out of the same wood but might have a different grain than the picture. All of our flutes use a water based finish in and out.
