This is a mid range drone flute meaning it has a balanced, clear, and resonant sound. The body is made of a curly maple with accents purpleheart with a special design of turquoise inlay.
This flute can be made in the keys of F-G and in 3 scale options. We can also make these flutes tuned to 432 Hz or 440 Hz. Please contact me directly for this option.
Alternating: This flute is alternating drone so it has an additional hole on the drone side that allows you to play the root note, the 5th and the octave!
It might take us a couple weeks to make your flute. Wood is a natural material and each piece is unique. Your flute will be made out of the same wood but might have a different grain than the picture. All of our flutes use a water based finish in and out. The leather straps will be deer or elk depending on availability.
