This is a low range drone flute in E meaning it has a deep, low, resonant sound. It has a standard tuning or Native American Flute tuning, otherwise known as a 6-hole pentatonic minor.
The body is made of Walnut with Maple Burl for the sound block and end caps. This is a great flute for those who love that deep resonant tone, and it is pretty comfortable for a low flute. However, I would not recommend as a first flute unless you have medium or big hands or already play another instrument. Elegant, sturdy and ready to play anywhere!
Please note, It might take us a few weeks to make your flute. Wood is a natural material and each piece is unique. Your flute will be made out of the same wood but might have a different grain than the picture. All of our flutes use a water based finish in and out. The leather straps will be deer or elk depending on availability.
